Bring Snuffle Spot to Your Business

A unique experience for dogs. A simple opportunity for your business.

Imagine being able to offer your customers something different that dogs absolutely love, without needing extra staff, equipment or expertise.

Snuffle Spot On The Road allows selected businesses to host private dog enrichment sessions at their own premises.

Whether you run a hydrotherapy centre, veterinary practice, pet shop, groomers, farm shop, café or another dog-friendly business, Snuffle Spot can provide an additional experience for your customers while creating extra revenue and helping your business stand out.

The best part?

You simply provide the space.

I do everything else.

What Is Snuffle Spot?

Snuffle Spot is a private enrichment experience where dogs are encouraged to sniff, search, forage, lick and explore at their own pace.

Think of it as a sensory playground designed specifically for dogs.

Unlike a playgroup or exercise area, Snuffle Spot is calm and relaxing. Dogs spend their time quietly investigating different activities and using their natural instincts.

There is no running around with lots of dogs or noisy group sessions.

Only one dog is booked at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family).

This means every dog can enjoy the experience without the stress of unfamiliar dogs.

Many dogs leave mentally satisfied, relaxed and tired despite very little physical exercise.

Who Is Snuffle Spot Suitable For?

Snuffle Spot is particularly popular with:

• Owners looking for fun and enriching activities

• Dogs who love sniffing and exploring

• Dogs on restricted exercise

• Dogs recovering from surgery or injury

• Senior dogs

• Puppies

• Nervous or anxious dogs

• High-energy dogs who need more than a walk

How Can Snuffle Spot Benefit Your Customers?

Snuffle Spot gives owners something different to do with their dogs.

Many owners struggle to find suitable activities for dogs recovering from injury, older dogs, nervous dogs or dogs who simply need more mental stimulation.

Snuffle Spot provides a safe, enjoyable and relaxing experience that owners can enjoy alongside their dog.

It can complement your existing services and help you support your clients even further.

How Can Snuffle Spot Benefit Your Business?

Hosting Snuffle Spot allows you to offer something unique without creating extra work.

Benefits may include:

✔ An additional source of income

✔ Increased customer loyalty

✔ Something different that sets your business apart

✔ New customers discovering your business

✔ Social media content and photographs

✔ Added value for your existing clients

✔ Opportunities for repeat visits

✔ Greater support for dogs on restricted exercise or rehabilitation programmes

✔ Making use of unused space or quieter times

Calm and Quiet Sessions

Snuffle Spot is designed to be relaxing.

Dogs are not running around barking or playing with unfamiliar dogs.

Sessions are private, with one dog (or one family group of dogs) at a time.

Dogs spend most of their time quietly sniffing, licking and exploring.

This makes Snuffle Spot suitable even for businesses where a calm environment is important.

How Does It Work?

It’s simple.

Customers book their session in advance through the Laura Carter Canines booking system.

I provide the booking link and promotional materials.

You simply share the information with your customers.

I then:

• Handle bookings

• Take payment

• Answer enquiries

• Bring all equipment

• Set everything up

• Welcome clients

• Run the sessions

• Clear everything away afterwards and clean the area.

No staff are required.

No administration is required.

No dog training knowledge is required.

You just provide the space and the clients

Many people imagine they need a huge room.

They don’t.

Because dogs are quietly sniffing and exploring rather than running around, surprisingly small spaces can work beautifully.

Suitable spaces include:

• Treatment rooms

• Waiting rooms

• Spare rooms

• Shop floor areas

• Barns

• Secure gardens

• Indoor spaces

If one dog can comfortably wander around and investigate different activities, the space is usually large enough.

Because I run everything myself, sessions can be arranged during quieter periods or even outside your normal opening hours.

This allows you to make use of space that might otherwise be sitting empty.

Not sure whether your premises are suitable?

I’m always happy to discuss ideas or look at photographs.

How much space do we need?

Less than you might think.

Because dogs are quietly sniffing and exploring rather than running around, a large space isn’t necessary.

Many treatment rooms, waiting rooms, spare rooms, shop floor areas and secure gardens can work beautifully.

If you’re unsure whether your space is suitable, simply get in touch and I’ll be happy to advise.

Do we need to provide any equipment?

Laura Carter Canines provides everything needed for the sessions, including enrichment activities, snuffle mats, lick mats, puzzles and search games.

You don’t need to buy, store or set up anything.

Do we need staff to supervise the sessions?

No.

Laura personally runs all sessions.

Your team can simply carry on with their normal work while the sessions take place.

Do we need to manage bookings?

No.

Clients book directly through the Laura Carter Canines booking system.

All you need to do is share the booking information with your customers.

Will the dogs be running around or making lots of noise?

No.

Snuffle Spot is designed to be calm and relaxing.

Dogs spend most of their time quietly sniffing, searching and exploring.

Many dogs become more settled as the session progresses.

This makes Snuffle Spot suitable for businesses where a calm environment is important.

Will there be multiple dogs together?

No.

Sessions are private.

Only one dog is booked at a time, or multiple dogs from the same household.

This allows each dog to enjoy the experience without the stress of unfamiliar dogs.

Is Snuffle Spot suitable for reactive or nervous dogs?

Often, yes.

Because sessions are private and there are no unfamiliar dogs sharing the space, many nervous or reactive dogs find Snuffle Spot particularly enjoyable.

Individual suitability can be discussed before booking.

Is Snuffle Spot suitable for dogs on restricted exercise?

Absolutely.

Snuffle Spot was originally developed with these dogs in mind.

The activities provide mental stimulation without requiring lots of physical exercise, making them ideal for dogs recovering from surgery, injury or illness.

Can sessions take place outside our normal opening hours?

Yes.

Many businesses prefer this option as it allows unused space to generate additional income without disrupting normal operations.

Are you insured?

Yes.

Laura Carter Canines is fully insured.

How often do businesses usually host Snuffle Spot?

This varies.

Some businesses choose to host a monthly Snuffle Spot day, while others prefer occasional events throughout the year.

We can work together to find a schedule that suits your business and your customers.

How do businesses make money from hosting Snuffle Spot?

There are several options depending on the partnership arrangement.

These may include venue hire, revenue sharing, referral arrangements or special events.

This can be discussed and tailored to suit your business.

What if we’re not sure whether our premises are suitable?

That’s completely fine.

Get in touch and I’d be happy to have a chat, look at photographs of your space or arrange a visit.

Many businesses are surprised by how little space is actually needed.
