Do you find walking your dog stressful because of their behaviour?
Do you have a high energy dog or puppy you struggle to tire out through exercise alone?
Do you have health issues that prevent you from walking your dog as often as you would like?
Is your dog recovering from an injury, operation or long term medial problem that stops you taking them out for log walks?
The TESS sessions are perfect for tackling the challenges you’re facing with your dog.
As a single mum to twins with four dogs, I understand how hard it can be to balance family life and meet your pet’s needs.
I developed my unique system, because I needed new ways to keep my own dogs happy when daily walks weren’t always possible.
The dogs enjoy the games and activities so much that sometimes we choose to do them instead of a walk, just for fun!
Through these engaging sessions, I’ve noticed how the dogs grow in confidence and improve their behaviour both on and off the lead. While the sessions aren’t about obedience training, the fun and interaction naturally help them become more responsive to their owner.

Scentwork involves training your dog to use their nose to locate specific scents. This activity provides mental stimulation, increases focus and confidence, has a calming effect, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog. It’s suitable for all dogs, regardless of age, breed, or ability.
Yes, Scentwork is ideal for reactive or nervous dogs. Our classes are structured so that dogs train one at a time, which minimizes stress and distractions. When not training, dogs are kept in their owner's car, ensuring a comfortable and controlled environment.
You should bring your dog’s favourite treats or toys as rewards, a leash, water, and a comfortable crate or setup in your car for when your dog is not training. It's also helpful to bring a notepad to jot down any tips or instructions.
Absolutely! Scent work is suitable for dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities. Whether you have a young puppy, an older dog, a high-energy breed, or a more sedentary companion, Scent work offers a fun and rewarding experience for every dog.
We understand your concern. Rest assured, the cars are parked right next to the area where we are working, which is located down a private drive. This allows you to safely leave windows or doors open, as long as your dog is secured, ensuring they remain comfortable and safe. You are also welcome to wait with your dog between turns if that makes you feel more at ease. However, we do encourage you to watch the other dogs during their turns, as it can be very beneficial for your learning and understanding of Scentwork.
Has your vet says you can’t walk your dog while they recover from an illness, injury or operation?
